Linda and Allan celebrated their wedding with three days of festivities, set against the stunning backdrop of the Val d’Orcia.
Friends and family came together at the luxurious Monteverdi Tuscany, a boutique hotel that that is built into the walls of the medieval village Castiglioncello del Trinoro.
Guests from around the globe (Europe, England, Australia, the United States, etc.) began celebrating on Friday with a reception in the main piazza of Castiglioncello del Trinoro. The town square is framed by the 14th century Church of Sant’Andrea, and looks out onto sweeping views of the Tuscan hills. An Italian folk trio played into the night as guests mingled and toasted to Linda and Allan.
The ceremony took place on Saturday, a perfect July day doused in Italian sun. Linda and Allan met in the main piazza, and walked down to the historic town fountain to say their vows. The ceremony was followed by a couple photo session through the tiny streets and the ancient walls of Castiglioncello del Trinoro.
After a toast to the newlyweds in the lavender garden, guests gathered for a celebration in the private garden of Villa Muri Antichi.
On Sunday, guests divided in groups to explore the Tuscan region. Some attended the Vespa tour by Slow Hills in Montalcino followed by a private lunch at Sesti Winery in Argiano's Castle, others discovered the area by bicycle, and a few spent the day relaxing by the Monteverdi pool.
Upon their return, guests gathered for a final meal held in the garden of the Culinary Academy.
